Kratka biografija:
Jelena Ačanski je zaposlena u institutu BioSens kao Istraživač. Doktorirala je 2017. godine na Prirodno-matematičkom fakultetu u Novom Sadu iz oblasti biologije – integrativne taksonomije i biogeografije osolikih muva (Diptera: Syrphidae). U okviru istraživanja koristi metode landmark i semi-landmark geometrijske morfometrije, analize distribucije i ekoloških niša vrsta. Autor je i koordinator baze podataka osolikih muva Balkanskog poluostrva i muzejskih zbirki.
